This Website, located at https://www.mentoringconnection.com/ (“Website”) is provided to you as part of the The Training Connection, Inc.'s Mentoring Program. It is for authorized use only. The Training Connection (TTC) is sometimes collectively referred to as “we” or “us.” Users of the Website are referred to as “you.”
This privacy policy applies to transactions and activities in which you engage, data gathered by the Website , e-mail communications between you and other participants or The Training Connection, Inc., and the Website public forums through which you may communicate and/or post messages.

This Website may contain links to other third-party sites (a third-party in this instance is defined as: a website that does not have a direct connection with The Mentoring Connection) that are not owned or controlled by TTC. Please be aware that The Training Connection, Inc. is not responsible for the privacy practices of other such sites. You are encouraged to be aware when you leave this site and to read the privacy policy of every Website that collects personally identifiable information.

Information Collected by the Website
In order to facilitate the mentor-mentee matching process, you will be asked to voluntarily submit information about yourself, including, but not limited to your name, contact information, geographical location, job history, and educational background.
We do not collect personal information about you when you visit https://www.mentoringconnection.com/ unless you voluntarily choose to provide this information.

Use of your Information by the Website
The information you voluntarily provide and which is collected by the Website to facilitate the Mentoring Program will only be used for the purpose of matching mentoring partnerships, and is not shared with any other third parties.
TTC’s staff who collect and process information to create mentoring matches, and who are responsible for security, software, and the program’s maintenance, will have access to member data for those purposes of the mentoring program. The Training Connection, Inc. will not share your information with any third parties.
Basic information about you has been stored by the Website for your registration, such as Login, Password, First Name, Last Name, E-mail address, address, and phone number. Additional information is collected and stored automatically by the Website including the following:
  • the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the domain from which you access the Internet (i.e. 123.456.789.012) whether yours individually or provided as a proxy by your Internet Service Provider (ISP)
  • the date and time you access our site and any resource in the site
  • the pages you peruse (recorded by the text and graphics files that compose that page)

This information is used by the Website to count the number and types of visitors who use the Website, how the web pages and links are used and, ultimately, to help make Website more useful to you.
This information is NOT shared with anyone beyond the support staff of the Website and is used only as a source of anonymous statistical information.

The Website provides the opportunity for Mentoring Program participants to communicate regarding their experiences through an on-line forum. All Mentoring Program participants have access to the on-line forum, unless such access is revoked. If you choose to voluntarily participate in the on-line forum, you have no expectation of privacy in any of the information you divulge through such forum.
The forum service is intended to facilitate communication between mentors and mentees, and the views expressed do not necessarily reflect those of TTC. The posting of defamatory comment or material that infringes the rights of others has no place in such discussions, and will not be permitted. Although TTC and its affiliates are not responsible for comments included in this area, it reserves the right to review postings and delete them if they are not appropriate and the member’s right to access the forum may be revoked. You should also be aware that such activities may subject you to civil actions or criminal penalties.
Use of the forum is at your own risk. Your use of the forum constitutes an agreement that you will not hold the Training Connection or its affiliates liable for anything said or done as a result of your use of the forum at anytime.
Use of the forum signifies that you are in total agreement to the terms contained here within. If you disagree with any of these terms, then please do not use the forum.
TTC reserves the right to ban anyone from using the forum at any time and for any reason they deem necessary to include, but not limited to: abusive language, disrespect of others, causing a disturbance, or purposely annoying others.

While access to the Website and participation in the Mentoring Program is facilitated by TTC, TTC and its affiliates accept no responsibility for the opinions and information provided by others. TTC and its affiliates do not assume any responsibility or liability in connection with actions taken as a result of any information exchanged as part of the Mentoring Program, including information posted to the Website’s forum. Cookies
We use data collection devices such as "cookies" on certain pages of the Site. We only use what is called a session or transient cookie, a cookie that is erased when the user closes the Web browser. Commitment to Children’s Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the children is especially important to us. For that reason, The Training Connection, Inc. does not collect or maintain information from those we actually know are under 13 years of age, and no part of The Training Connection Website is structured to attract anyone under 13 years of age.

Access to Your Personal Information
If your personal information changes, please update this data through the Pre-Work page. If you no longer desire to participate in the Mentoring Program, please contact your Mentoring Program Coordinator or send a message to Eileen@thetrainingconnection.com.

Changes in this Policy
TTC may make changes to the Privacy and Information Security Statement & Disclaimer Policy. When that happens, we will post the revised policy to this Website. We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time.

By using this Website and participating in the Mentoring Program, you consent to the Privacy and Information Security Statement & Disclaimer Policy. If you do not wish to agree with this policy, please do not use this Website or participate in the Mentoring Program. TTC reserves the right, at its discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this policy at any time.
